What will my child experience?
At Discovery Circle, children are welcomed with an invitation to explore, followed by shared meals, outdoor play, creative experiences, storytelling, and opportunities to play with others.
Throughout their four hours, children might prepare creations in the mud kitchen, work with clay or drawing materials, explore the garden, share stories, or participate in group games.
The rhythm stays familiar, while the materials and experiences change in response to children's interests.

Discovery Circle
Enrollment & Reservation Policies Eligibility
Discovery Circle welcomes children ages 3–8 years.
Session Hours
Morning: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Afternoon: 12:30 PM–4:30 PM
Families may reserve both sessions on the same day, including care during the 12:00–12:30 PM transition period, subject to availability and confirmation.
Tuition & Registration
Each four-hour session costs $40 per child.
A one-time, nonrefundable registration fee of $20 is required for each child.
There is no minimum attendance requirement.
Families may reserve one or multiple available sessions.
Availability & Reservations
Discovery Circle is offered on select weekdays according to available enrollment spaces.
New availability is released weekly, up to two weeks in advance.
Reservations are subject to available capacity and completion of required enrollment procedures.
First-Time Enrollment
First-time families must pay the session fee and one-time registration fee and complete all required enrollment paperwork.
After payment, a reservation will remain pending for up to 48 hours while enrollment paperwork is completed.
If the required paperwork is not completed within 48 hours:

The pending reservation expires, and the space is released.

The session payment becomes a credit toward a future Discovery Circle reservation.

The credit must be used within 60 calendar days from the reservation's expiration date.

The $20 one-time registration fee remains nonrefundable.
A reservation is confirmed only after all required enrollment paperwork has been completed and accepted.
Returning Families
Once a child is enrolled and all required information remains current, future reservations are confirmed upon successful payment, subject to availability.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least seven calendar days before the reserved session.
Eligible cancellations and rescheduling requests do not receive a monetary refund. Instead, the session payment is retained as a credit toward a future Discovery Circle reservation.
Credits remain valid for 60 days.
Reservations made fewer than seven days before the scheduled session are final and cannot be canceled or rescheduled for credit.

Meals
Meals are included with each session.

Families are responsible for providing the personal supplies listed in their enrollment information.
Outdoor Learning
Discovery Circle is an outdoor-focused program. Children have opportunities to spend much of their session outdoors, weather and safety conditions permitting.
Family Communication
Enrolled families receive access to the Playground app, which is used for ongoing program communication and sharing photographs and videos of their child's experience.
Parent Volunteering
Parents interested in volunteering must provide at least two weeks' advance notice.
Volunteering opportunities are subject to applicable childcare licensing requirements and program approval. Parents may volunteer only while their own child is attending, and must take their child with them if they leave early.

We welcome children from infancy through 11 years old. School-age children may join us for before- and after-school care, school breaks, holidays, and summer care.

Yes. As your family's needs change, your child may transition from one experience to another based on availability. We'll work with you to find the option that best fits your child's needs and your family's schedule.
Yes. Meals and snacks are provided during your child’s time at Aprenden Play, based on the hours they attend. We prepare homemade meals and snacks and work with families to understand dietary needs and allergies.
Every child adjusts at their own pace. We take time to build trust, learn your child’s cues, and create familiar routines that help them feel secure and comfortable. We’ll stay connected with you throughout the transition so we can support your child together.
